Dr. Ade Oyedijo, Ph.D., FHEA, Chartered MCIPS, is an Assistant Professor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Hull University Business School. He leads management workshops/modules on the interface of Sustainability, Consultancy Projects, Supply Chains, and Logistics Management. Prior to joining The University of Hull, he was a full time Lecturer in Operations and Project Management at York Business School.
Dr Oyedijo is a ''Chartered'' Procurement and Supply Professional (MCIPS), and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He obtained his Doctoral Degree in Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Newcastle University Business School (Newcastle University).
His research is inter-disciplinary in nature as it examines the role of People and Human Behaviour in the Intra/Inter Firm Relationship context. His research also considers other relevant topics such as Relationship Management, Supply Chain Collaboration, Reputation Management in Supply Chains, Humanitarian Logistics, and Business issues in Africa (especially in West Africa).
Ade is currently a Visiting Lecturer in E-Logistics Management at Newcastle University Business School (Newcastle University).
He speaks frequently at top international conferences on topics that impact businesses today and the broader society. He is a Member of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA), and British Association of Management (BAM).
Dr Oyedijo is open to supervise prospective PhD candidates interested in conducting research in the areas of Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
