Social Work courses

At Hull, Social Work is part of the Department of Psychological Health, Wellbeing and Social Work which sits within the Faculty of Health Sciences.


COURSES

Students develop a solid grounding in social work skills, knowledge and values under our expert staff, and benefit from our close ties with local service users, carers and agencies.

Foundation year

Gives you the skills and knowledge for entry on to a degree if you don’t quite meet the academic entry requirements.

Study abroad

We have partnerships with universities across the globe. Depending on your course, you can study for one trimester, or a full year, in another country.

Industrial placement

Work in industry as part of your degree. Depending on your course, you can spend part of your degree on placement. See your course page for specific details.

Integrated Masters

Some courses combine undergraduate and postgraduate study. The integrated Masters year is an extra year after your standard degree.
