Modern Languages and Cultures courses

You don't just become fluent in another language at Hull - you immerse yourself in the culture of the people who speak it. Languages is part of the Department of Languages and Philosophy, which sits in the Faculty of Arts, Cultures and Education.

Undergraduate students spend an unforgettable year abroad, studying at a partner university or working in a school or in industry, in a country where your chosen language (or languages) is spoken.

We're not accepting applications for our BA (Hons) Chinese Studies and BA (Hons) Applied Modern Languages or MA Translation Studies degrees for 2021. Check back soon for more information about 2022 entry.
