Zoe, who trained as a health visitor in 1993-94, was in the first cohort at the University to achieve a BSc in Community Nursing.

She worked as a health visitor in the east of the city, taking on the role of lead health visitor before venturing into management.

Her passion for health visiting led to a post at the University of Hull in 2003 where she soon became pathway leader.

Zoe was very active in developing an assessment tool in partnership with practice teachers to support the assessment of professional behaviour.
