After qualifying from the University of Hull in 2013 with a first class degree in mental health nursing, Tim went on to work as a care co-ordinator in a multidisciplinary early intervention in psychosis team.

At the same time he was working on his doctorate (which he is now writing up) part time, while also helping out at the University with supervising and marking final year mental health nursing dissertations.

Tim left a band 6 NHS role to join the mental health team here at the University in April 2016.
