Clinical Tutor for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology/ Lead for neuropsychology teaching and curriculum development and marking of psychometric case studies Dr Pete Fleming, a neuropsychologist with a broad range of experience in the field of neurorehabilitation, joined the University of Hull in 2015 as a clinical tutor. He is passionate about developing the neuropsychology teaching delivered on the Clinical Psychology Doctorate, which he leads, along with the supervision of neuropsychology research projects. Dr Fleming completed his Clinical Psychology Doctorate at the University of Sheffield in 2009, and went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology. He is on the British Psychological Society's Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists which is regarded as the gold standard for the profession.

Undergraduate

Dr Fleming leads the development of the neuropsychology curriculum for the Clinical Psychology Doctorate, which includes running several of his own teaching sessions, including psychometrics, and the rehabilitation of memory disorders and executive functions.

Postgraduate supervision

Dr Fleming is interested in supervising research related to acquired brain injury. He has particular interests in models of executive functioning, social cognition, adjustment to limitations post brain injury, patient and family member expectations of neuro-rehabilitation and third wave models of therapy.
