Summary

Peter Draper is Professor of Nursing Education and Scholarship. His area of research is the nursing contribution to the wellbeing of older people. As a National Teaching Fellow and Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Peter has a national and international reputation as an educator. He has published on the use of creative writing techniques in nursing education, innovation in teaching, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Peter leads the nursing subject group in the School of Health Studies. He is Academic Support Tutor to a group of undergraduate nursing students, leads the MSc dissertation module, and supervises PhD students. Ordained in the Church of England
