Matt's clinical background is in both pre-hospital and perioperative care, as a dual-registered paramedic and operating department practitioner.

He has significant healthcare experience with a passion for pre-hospital critical care. The majority of Matt's paramedic career was spent with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service's Hazardous Area Response Team, where he was one of the clinical leads.

Matt is currently studying the PGCert Educator in Practice course as part of the MSc in Health Studies.
