Summary

Louise is a midwifery lecturer and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. After qualifying as a registered general nurse in 1995, she worked in medical, surgical and intensive care nursing before qualifying as a registered midwife in 1999, obtaining a BSc (Hons) first-class degree in midwifery. Louise is an experienced midwife in clinical practice and has completed an MSc in Health Professional Studies and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Since February 2011, she has been a full-time midwifery lecturer.
