Summary

Helena joined the University as a lecturer in French in September 2011 having previously taught at the Universities of Lancaster, Nottingham and Bangor. Her research interests are in women's writing, the contemporary French novel, literary engagement and the social novel in France, and transnational publishing and literary reception France - UK. Helena teaches on language and culture modules across the French section and the school.
