Summary

Helen has worked in higher education for over 30 years. Prior to joining the University of Hull as a lecturer in 2009, she worked at the University of Lincoln as a subject librarian, a Senior Lecturer in Core Skills and as a Learning Development Co-ordinator working closely with colleagues from support and academic departments to enhance and develop provision in learning development. She has also worked at Bishop Burton College as a Lecturer in Teacher Training, delivering and managing Cert Ed and PGCE programmes for teachers and trainers working in the lifelong learning sector.

Helen specialises in helping students develop their skills in academic practice.
