Helen works in the School of Education delivering skills modules and producing study support material.

Previously, she delivered skills modules for the Centre for Lifelong Learning and provided one-to-one support in academic writing and study skills to both undergraduates and postgraduates.

Helen came to Hull from the University of Lincoln where she spent two spells, initially working as a subject librarian, becoming involved in delivering study skills and later returning to the university as Learning Development Co-Ordinator.

She has also worked at Bishop Burton College as a lecturer in teacher training, delivering and managing CertEd and PGCE programmes.
