Prof Georg Mehl joined the University of Hull as academic staff a Lecturer in 1997 and has been Professor for Organic and Materials Chemistry since 2010.

Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher on piezoelectric LC polymers at the University, after completing his PhD at the University of Freiburg in Germany.
