Summary

Emma qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing from the University of Hull in September 2005. Her nursing experience encompasses acute and elective orthopaedics, trauma and surgery. The last five years of Emma's practice have been in both elective and trauma orthopaedics as a nurse practitioner. She has enhanced clinical skills, including venepuncture, cannulation and performing intra-articular joint injections, as well as clinical decision making. Emma retains a special interest in orthopaedics as well as the development of clinical skills in nursing, particularly using simulation in education.
