Dr Cawthorne is an experienced preclinical PET researcher, having worked in the field for over 10 years, with a background in cancer therapy and molecular pharmacology.

He is currently Lecturer in Molecular Imaging and Head of Preclinical Imaging in the PET Research Centre at the University of Hull.

  • The application of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) to oncology

  • The validation of novel imaging probes for application as cancer biomarkers

  • The development of molecular radiotherapy tools

  • Preclinical PET quantitation

  • PET image reconstruction
