Summary

Luke is a lecturer in Social Work, who teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students; he has a particular interest in teaching study skills and research methods. Luke also helps students to engage with and develop online learning communities (using social media). These communities can be used during social work training to help students enhance their learning and also as they enter the world of work to support their continued professional development.

Luke is a member of the Police and University Network of Knowledge (PUNK) and works with colleagues from a number of disciplines including Criminology and Law. His work as part of this group includes developing training for police officers, social workers, teachers and other relevant professionals to help tackle child criminal exploitation.
