Mathematics Mathematics is part of the Department of Physics and Mathematics, which sits within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. COURSES We designed our mathematics curriculum to help you gain an understanding of pure and applied maths, as well as probability and statistics. In the later part of your degree, you'll complete an extended project involving an in-depth study of a problem of your own choosing. Foundation year Gives you the skills and knowledge for entry on to a degree if you don’t quite meet the academic entry requirements. Study abroad We have partnerships with universities across the globe. Depending on your course, you can study for one trimester, or a full year, in another country. Integrated Masters Some courses combine undergraduate and postgraduate study. The integrated Masters year is an extra year after your standard degree.
