Faculty of Science and Engineering

The faculty unites leading academics with state-of-the-art facilities. We deliver teaching and research across a broad range of science and engineering areas.

The faculty comprises three schools covering 10 subject areas. Our interdisciplinary research centres are confronting some of the biggest challenges facing the world today.

The faculty is home to research centres specialising in astrophysics and advanced materials. We also have dedicated institutes focusing on estuarine and coastal environments, and aquatic resource management and conservation.
