The University of Hull Undergraduate Women in STEM Scholarship 2022/23 is to support female international students to enter undergraduate degrees in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. This is a key United Nations Sustainable Development Goal, and is aligned with the University’s commitment to the Athena Swan Charter to encourage greater gender diversity.

2022 Scholarships

The University of Hull is offering scholarships for international, female students beginning year one of a full time, undergraduate programme starting in September 2022. The award is as follows:

5 x 50% scholarships for three years of undergraduate study for international, female students studying on programmes relating to Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths. This scholarship will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction.

To apply for the scholarship, you will need to complete and submit a University of Hull Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Scholarship 2022 application form.

Eligibility

To be considered for the University of Hull Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Scholarship 2022, you will need to:

  • have received an offer of study on an undergraduate programme at the University of Hull relating to Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths
  • have achieved, or working towards, AAB A-Levels or equivalent grade in their high school qualification recognised by the University of Hull
  • have achieved IELTS 6.5 overall, with 5.5 in each skill or equivalent before the application deadline
  • be an ‘overseas’ student for fee paying purposes
  • have completed a University of Hull Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Scholarship 2022 application form

Application deadline

The deadline for applications is 31st May 2022.

Selection

Successful candidates will be contacted in mid-June 2022. All candidates will be notified of the outcome of their applications by the end of June 2022.
