International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarships 2019

 The University of Hull International Office is offering merit based scholarships worth £5,000 each to full-time postgraduate taught students from the following countries: 

  • Bangladesh 
  • Egypt
  • Ghana
  • India
  • Indonesia 
  • Kenya
  • Nigeria
  • Pakistan
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam

The duration of the scholarship is for one year and will be awarded as a tuition fee discount. 

Applicants must be available to commence their studies by the start of the University’s academic year in September 2019. 

Eligibility 

To be considered for a scholarship you will need to: 

  • be a national of and normally resident in any of the eligible countries listed above. 
  • have achieved a minimum 2.1 degree classification at bachelors level or equivalent. 
  • have met the University’s standard English language requirements.
  • have received an offer of study from the University of Hull. 

 Priority will be given to those applicants who have already met the terms of their offer by the closing dates.

How to apply for a scholarship 

To apply for the scholarship, you will need to complete the International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship Application Form below.

Application deadline 

The closing dates for applications are: 

  • Round One – 12:00 BST on 30 April 2019 
  • Round Two – 12:00 BST on 28 June 2019  

Selection 

Applicants will be selected on the strength of their academic achievements and the quality of the answers provided in the scholarship application form. 

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications by mid-May 2019 (Round One) and mid-July (Round Two).
