  • Undergraduate

  • Postgraduate Taught

    The majority of our taught Masters programmes require that you hold a qualification equivalent to a lower second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.2). Please check our course pages for specific entry requirements.

    We generally consider Bachelor degree - 學士學位 awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Taiwan to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree.

    Lower second-class (2.2) equivalent
    Overall grade 70% or GPA 2.75 out of 4

    Upper second-class (2.1) equivalent
    Overall grade 75% or GPA 3.0 out of 4

    If your achieved your Bachelor degree through the adult education route, we may need to ask for a higher grade than the above. We recommend that you submit your application or enquire.

  • Postgraduate Research

    The majority of our research Masters programmes and PhDs require that you hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1), although some programmes, especially PhDs may have higher entry requirements. Please check our course pages for specific entry requirements.

    We generally consider Bachelor degree - 學士學位 awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in Taiwan to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree.

Fees

  • Undergraduate - Standard tuition fees for International students studying in 2021/22 are £14,800 per year for most Arts, Humanities and Business programmes and £17,550 for Science courses. Scholarships are available for international students. Non-standard fees apply for some courses - please see your course page for more information.
  • Postgraduate Taught - Fees for International students studying Postgraduate Taught masters degrees in 2021/22 will match our UK fees (excluding MA Social Work, HYMS programmes or EMBA). Our International postgraduate tuition fees for these programmes beginning September 2021 and January 2022 start from £7,850 per year. Non-standard fees apply for some courses - please see your course page for more information.
  • Postgraduate Research - Our postgraduate research courses are between £15,000 and £17,500. There are some PhD scholarships available designed to attract the best academic talent to further our groundbreaking research.
