More about this course

Our business management programmes are perfect if you want to develop a broad skill-set that will help you deal with the complexity and diversity of the modern business world. You'll discover how organisations work and discover how to seize the right opportunities at the right time. This degree will give you the skills and knowledge to work in sectors that support enterprise. These include local and national government, incubators and other support organisations (including consultancies), and financial institutions. The course is also ideal for students aspiring to start their own business, or those that want to learn entrepreneurial skills for the boardroom (corporate entrepreneurship) and those wishing to work in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups.

The University has a long tradition of working with Hull and Humber based SMEs through industry projects, guest speakers, and other activities. Hull has recently been named the most enterprising place in Britain and is known for its award-winning, small-business support organisation For Entrepreneurs Only. You'll study in state-of-the-art facilities, and can also opt to spend a year of your programme in work, gaining invaluable experience and creating contacts. Or spend a year studying abroad with one of our partners across Europe, Asia, North America and Australia to give your degree an international flavour. There are also opportunities to take part in international summer schools including top destinations such as Copenhagen Business School and Hong Kong University.
