COURSES Our programmes combine theory with practice, and tradition with continuing innovation – resulting in graduates with an exciting range of careers in the creative industries. Foundation year Gives you the skills and knowledge for entry on to a degree if you don’t quite meet the academic entry requirements. Study abroad We have partnerships with universities across the globe. Depending on your course, you can study for one trimester, or a full year, in another country. Integrated Masters Some courses combine undergraduate and postgraduate study. The integrated Masters year is an extra year after your standard degree. Undergraduate BA (Hons) Drama and Theatre Practice Available in Clearing A hands-on programme which enables you to develop your talents as a performer, critic, writer, technician or designer. BA (Hons) Drama and English Available in Clearing Engage with dramatic texts, theatre history, modes of criticism and a wide range of performance practices. BA (Hons) Drama and Film Studies Available in Clearing Gain unique, hands-on experience. A wide range of modules and facilities help bring your ideas to life on stage and screen. BA (Hons) Modern Languages and Drama Available in Clearing Aimed at those who love both languages and drama, this course allows you to split your studies 50/50 between each subject. BA (Hons) Music, Theatre and Performance Available in Clearing Explore music and theatre through workshops, masterclasses, concerts, shows and productions. PGCert/PGDip/MA in Theatre Making Make theatre for a variety of audiences. You'll also receive training in setting up and running theatre companies. FACILITIES There is a real buzz of activity in the Gulbenkian Centre, a Grade II listed building featuring a theatre, radio studios and workshops - and in our flagship cultural venue, Middleton Hall.
