Summary

Kirsty has been a mental health nurse for 15 Years, before coming to the University. Her predominant field of expertise is forensic mental health, specialising in particular in the diagnosis of personality disorder. She was previously a hospital director in this field and has also worked as a specialist advisor to the Care Quality Commission. She is also qualified in non-medical prescribing (running the nursing module here at the University). Kirsty is currently undertaking a PhD at the University. Her area of research is Women with Personality Disorder.
