Much of Hull city centre is pedestrianised – perfect for the committed shopper!
'Trinity Square' is recognised as one of the country’s top 10 best-designed urban spaces, while the extensive Princes Quay Shopping Centre, resting on stilts above the waters of a former dock, has four store floors, featuring popular high-street names.
The equally-modern Prospect Centre is packed full of retail opportunities, and 'Hepworth Arcade', in the historic Old Town, offers a smaller-scale shopping experience, plus a traditional indoor market nearby. Hull has branches of all the main supermarkets, with 'Jacksons' catering for local residents on (almost) every corner.

... great for picking up bargain course books! The town centre, also largely pedestrianised, showcases major high-street stores and specialist shops.
You’ll also find galleries and gift shops down the narrow side streets, and the stores in the Brunswick Centre offer abundant excuses for indulging in some retail therapy! All these shopping venues are easily accessible from the campus.
