Entertainment is never hard to find in Hull...
A spectacular example is The Deep, which incorporates the world’s only ‘submarium’
(and Europe’s deepest aquarium), housed in a remarkable award-winning waterfront structure. Also unique spectacular is Hull Fair, Europe’s largest travelling fun fair, which comes to the city every October.

The Hull Truck Theatre, nationally and internationally renowned under the artistic direction of John Godber, is a must for new and challenging productions, while Hull New Theatre is a regional centre for touring shows. The local art-house cinema, Hull Screen, features foreign and cult films, and the city has two mainstream multi-screen cinemas with a third due to be completed by the end of 2007.
Hull has major concert venues, including the magnificent KC Stadium, which have attracted such big names as Elton John, Paul Weller and REM.
Possibly Britain’s first seaside holiday destination...
... Scarborough has welcomed visitors for nearly 400 years. It offers a wide range of entertainment and leisure facilities. Three cinemas screen the latest releases and specialist seasons, while the Futurist Theatre and the Spa Complex both offer live shows and concerts.
On the theatrical front, the town has two unique distinctions; the renowned Stephen Joseph Theatre hosts all of Sir Alan Ayckbourn’s world premiere plays, and the ground-breaking National Student Drama Festival is also staged in the town yearly.
