Summary

I am an experienced staff nurse in paediatrics having worked in the NHS for over 20 years. Following completion of my nurse training, attaining an advanced diploma of higher education in nursing at University of Bradford, I commenced my nursing career at Bradford Royal Infirmary, where I worked on a busy medical ward, incorporating paediatric assessment and also stabilisation of the sick child. Following this I commenced working on the Paediatric High Dependency Unit at Hull Royal Infirmary, where I have further developed my skills and knowledge base caring for the highly dependent and critically ill child.

In 2015 I commenced a secondment as a lecturer practitioner working one day a week with the children’s nursing team at the University of Hull, gaining experience of working with the academic environment. which i moved into full time on 2019.
