• Jack Lynch's Renaissance On-Line Literary Research Tools.
• The Voice of the Shuttle is a useful Renaissance site, with links to many other periods and styles of literature. As it's based in the United States, it can be quite slow for European readers.
• Why Edit Electronically?, the text of a talk given by John Lavagnino at the conference of the Society for Textual Scholarship on April 6, 1995, as part of a panel devoted to the forthcoming Oxford University Press edition of Thomas Middleton's works.

The Arden Shakespeare have set up a "a peer-reviewed, time-saving, interactive" website. There is also an introduction to Shakespeare's life and times and copies of the original folios and quartos. "Shakespeare's Morals, The Stoic Legacy to the Renaissance" now makes a large number of ethical authorities available.
• Sir Philip Sidney's In Defence of Poetry is available on-line.
• There are a number of pages devoted to Edmund Spenser. The Edmund Spenser Home Page includes both primary and secondary materials. There is also The Faerie Queen as well as further links. The Shepheardes Calender is also available elsewhere.
