The fun started on Friday night with drinking (of course) and socialising etc. The usual early morning start on Saturday saw us in the city centre by 10am ready to make pratts of ourselves by doing various bizarre activities such as making psycadelic flowers and acting out a scene from the Magic Roundabout, much to the amusement of passersby. We had a choice of activities in the afternoon and strangely enough ended up on the pub crawl. We crawled our way back to the site and were greeted with a nice mild tea ("you can never have too much cayenne pepper" yeh right!) The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the barn dance. Being 60's orientated we had to go for the short dress option, Rachel's was more of a non-dress, and Pat, Mark and John showed us what beautiful legs they've got! Mark did us proud by winning the fancy dress prize, even if he did stink!
Sunday was the serious stuff with the AGM when we bidded for and got the Spring '98 rally - Hull Fish `n' Ships rally, it'll be great! Silly games followed - rugby with balloons, dressing someone up as a spaceman with loo roll and the likes. Then it was back to Hull for rest and recuperation before the next one - Guildford, July '96.
