For countries such as Iraq & Russia do you get visas for me? What medical supplies should I bring?
Do I need insurance? Yes. We won't accept anyone on tour who doesn't have adequate insurance. As well as cover for loss or theft of personal items you need to ensure that your policy provides full medical cover, including the cost of repatriation if necessary. You should make sure that it covers you for all of the activities that you'll be doing whilst on tour. At the risk of sounding like an advertisement, not all insurance policies are the same - some, more basic insurance policies don't cover things like trekking, so you need to make sure that you have the appropriate level of cover. The travel insurance which is provided as a free extra by most credit card companies is, in our experience, inadequate. It does not provide the necessary level of cover and we strongly recommend that you take out a proper travel insurance policy. Ooto Travel recommend the following website for travel insurance and you will receive a 10% discount if you quote Ooto001 http://www.insurance.com/
