Duke of Argyll's TeaplantA single colony, found by P A Gardam, growing on the east bank of the River Hull south of Sutton Road. This plant is rather scarce in the region, the main stronghold being on the sand dunes at Spurn. The seed will, almost certainly , have been washed up the river by the tidal flow. Several other halophytic plants were found close-by (Parapholis, Puccinellia, etc.). |
