Sherardia arvensis

Field Madder With the exception of 02N, where it is found on the old railway sidings to the east of Priory way, it is found on or near to the roadside, usually in short grass. The 13B locality, on Saltshouse Road, has persisted for more than ten years to my knowledge.

Galium palustre

Common Marsh-bedstraw Abundant in a wet area near the railway line in the fields near Snuff Mill.

Galium verum

Lady's Bedstraw The only known colony within the city boundary can be found on the north east margin of Priory sidings.

Galium aparine

Cleavers Common in hedge bottoms and overgrown places throughout.

Cruciata laevipes

Crosswort Usually in grassy places, uncommon within city boundary.
