Field BindweedCommon on open sites throughout. Probably more common than above distribution data would suggest as only flowering plants were recorded to avoid any confusion with Fallopia convolvulus. I am, however, now convinced that the leaves are sufficiently distinct to determine the vegetative growth with confidence. |

Hedge BindweedThis native species is much less common than the larger flowered C. silvatica. It seems to be associated with old water courses, often long since filled in. |
