Myosotis

Myosotis scorpioides

Water Forget-me-not

Often in great profusion along the margins of the Barmston and the Holderness Drains.

Myosotis laxa

Tufted Forget-me-not

Found at a single locality in an almost dry land drain on the south of Bude Road. The smaller dark blue flowers and more deeply-cut calyx distinguish it from M. scorpioides

Myosotis arvensis

Field Forget-me-not

Scattered, ofted as an arable and garden weed or in short grass.

Myosotis ramosissima

Early Forget-me-not

Single locality - St Andrew's Quay. This is a rather unusual record and will need confirmation. The plants were growing with other rather unusual species (Ornithopus perpusillus & Trifolium arvense) giving more credibility to the record!

Myosotis sp.

Forget-me-not

Non-flowering material, probably M. arvensis, need confirmation.
