Cow ParsleyProbably the most frequent "Umbellifera" in Hull. The foliage dies back later in the season making it rather inconspicuous - probably the reason for absence of records for some tetrads. Hedge bottoms and ditch banks. |

Corky-fruited Water-dropwortThis plant was found in two colonies, both near to the Ennerdale Sports Centre. Material has been determined by M Southam, BSBI referee, and is the northernmost record for this plant in Britain (and possibly Europe). Then next nearest plants grow in Ipswich. |

Pepper-saxifrageThis indicator of neutral grassland was found in two places. It is very abundant on Priory Road Fields (03K) but several plants were found on the pasture near Tweendykes Road (13B). Both sites are considered to be unimproved relics of the, once extensive, wet pasture which surrounded the city. |
