The Holderness
Mountain Rescue Service

Great caution should be exercised when climbing the
"Three Peaks of Holderness"
Kelsey Hill (over 1500 cm), Beacon Hill (2600 cm) and Dimlington High Land (over 3000 cm) !
If you are attempting to climb these peaks by yourself always inform someone where you are going and what time you expect to be back. Wear the right clothing for the weather conditions and have the correct climbing equipment. Be aware that mists can develop suddenly considerably reducing visibility on the peaks. And remember that if you should fall it is the sudden deceleration at the bottom that hurts!
