NOTE: I am extremely grateful to all my / our students who helped compile this (and other) list(s), especially the I Remember When students at the University of Hull and various Adult Residential Colleges around the UK (from the Lake District to Epping Forest). I miss the joy of teaching (the passing on of knowledge / learning); but I must concentrate upon my own specific research and writing that is close to my heart (the Hessle Road Fishing Community of Hull). Equally, you must focus upon your own writing and keep at it.
