A small number of items are held relating to this religious house of Gilbertine canons and nuns comprising one 13th century gift of land to Alan the merchant of Ellerton, a confirmation and quitclaim to the Prior and convent in 1350 being an advowson 'for the sustenance of 13 poor' and a rental of 1538 [DRA/549-551]. There are also the letters patent granting the Priory to Robert Aske of Aughton in 1542 and the 1579 sale by him to John Palmes [DDBH/3/32; DDPA/2/1].
