Leeds
University Library
The inventories of the Quaker archives known as the Carlton Hill (Leeds) and
Clifford Street (York) collections are not currently accessible in electronic form. However name indexes to the Carlton Hill collection Monthly Meeting minute books are available online as the Quaker Archives Database, accompanied by a Guide to the Quaker Archives held by the Department of Special Collections.
The contents of the Leeds Friends' Old Library, the Birkbeck Library and the Society of Friends Library are catalogued as part of the main
Library OPAC, which can be accessed at: http://lib.leeds.ac.uk/search.
Classmark searching enables researchers to identify the entire contents of each Quaker
library. Entering, for example, 'Birkbeck Library' results in almost 4500
hits.
