East Riding
of Yorkshire Archives Service
The Archives Service holds a small
collection of mainly 17th and 18th century records from Elloughton (later Cave), Kelk (later
Bridlington), and Owstwick Monthly Meetings and Bridlington, Owstwick and Welwick
Preparative Meetings. As well as minute books of men's and women's
meetings, there are also records of sufferings and historical notes on East Riding
meetings. These fill important early gaps in the holdings of
the Brynmor Jones Library, and as such, have been included in the name indexing
work.
