Australasian Studies: Contents Page
This guide brings together information on the archives and manuscripts held by the Brynmor Jones Library which relate to the continent of Australasia. It is intended to complement the guide to documentary resources for South East Asian Studies. The attention of researchers is drawn to two relevant lists produced in 1989 by the Australian Joint Copying Project of the National Library of Australia. These provide detailed descriptions of the sources referred to in this guide, primarily the archives of the National Council for Civil Liberties and landed family and estate papers. There are sections covering Australia and New Zealand, and the material derives both from resident observers and external commentators on the region.
