Teaching at the MHSC

As a unit of the Department of History at the University of Hull, the MHSC is dedicated to conducting research activities, and by making a significant contribution to the History Department's teaching provision. Leading this initiative are two lecturers in maritime history – David J Starkey and Richard Gorski – who hold the only permanent posts dedicated to the subject in the UK university sector.
