Individual Research at the MHSC

Individual Research at the MHSC Maritime history embraces all aspects of the relationship between human societies and the sea. To make sense of this extremely broad subject area, it is helpful to view the maritime dimensions of the historical process according to the ways in which humans have interacted with the sea and its resources over the centuries.

Applying this functional approach to the research efforts of the individuals working at the MHSC yields five 'clusters':
