Welcome to Blaydes House, the home of the Maritime Historical Studies Centre (MHSC) since 2001. This Georgian residence has been renovated and equipped to accommodate the Centre’s research, teaching and outreach efforts.

Apart from being a centre of excellence in research and learning, Blaydes House offers first-class seminar and conference facilities for hire to groups of up to 30 people. It is located in Hull’s ‘Old Town’, close to the city's Museum Sector and retains the character of the seafaring age that made Hull a major port in the UK.
