Accessing electronic resources via Athens
Please note that Athens accounts will continue to work

The login route for Athens resources is changing from 1 August 2008 as a result of national higher education developments in access technologies. 

The following electronic resources can still be accessed via Athens but have adopted a new access technology which means they no longer present an Athens login option. Instead you will see the option to either log in via the UK Federation and/or present a drop-down list of institutions which includes the University of Hull. After selecting this you will then be prompted for your Athens username & password, which will continue to work as before. Instructions are provided below for each resource.

For other resources using Athens, you may see additional login options to accommodate new access technology that some institutions are adopting, however the option to log in directly via Athens will still be available and should be used.
