RUC partner Report

The Shifting Baselines concept explored in the oceans and seas, but also in coastal regions. The Danish partner (RUC) is exploring the Limfjorden, a coastal region of Denmark (map image above). This unique marine habitat is especially useful in the project as it literally is a Shifting Baseline. The inland sea has given way to the ocean several times (and vice versa) throughout recorded history. The natural impact on marine life of this anomaly is being studied and recorded.
