Professor Victor de Jonge
Honary Professor of the Institute of Estuarine and Coastal Studies (IECS) specialising in coastal management (protection against flooding, maintenance of harbours and navigation routes and control of the water quality) in the Wadden Sea, the Ems estuary and the coastal zone of the North Sea. He has extensive experience in the science and management of estuaries and coastal areas, marine and estuarine pollution and eutrophication. Prof. de Jonge lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate level both in the Netherlands and the UK. He is a member of the following professional societies and offices:
