In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, University of Hull is offering 4 scholarships to students in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya and Mexico applying for one-year postgraduate courses in September 2026.
The GREAT Scholarships 2026 programme, launched by the British Council together with over 60 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam in accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of a maximum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at over 60 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Please note that applicants must be permanent residents and passport holders of Bangladesh, China (mainland only), Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, or Vietnam. For more information on the GREAT Scholarships 2026, please visit Study UK.

International postgraduate students
Postgraduate students from eligible countries
The University of Hull is offering scholarships for students beginning a full-time, postgraduate taught programme (excluding PGCert and PGDip) starting in September 2026.
One successful applicant in each of the categories listed below will receive an award of £10,000 (GBP) in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
1 x Bangladeshi student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
1 x Indonesian student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
1 x Kenyan student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
1 x Mexican student studying any full-time, Hull-based postgraduate taught programme.
Successful applicants will be required to pay a £4,000 tuition fee deposit to secure their place on their programme.
