Rebecca joined the University as a Partnership Area Tutor in September 2015. She works on a number of programmes including UG, PG and Schools Direct.

She has experience of teaching all ages in the primary sector, as well as mentoring students and coaching newly-qualified teachers.

Rebecca completed her BSc with QTS at Scarborough University in 1999. She spent the next six years working as a teacher at a large primary school in Hull, becoming KS1 phase leader and senior management after just two years.

More recently, she has been working in a rural school, near Goole, as a year 6 teacher.
