Summary

Rachel Cooper is a BABCP accredited Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist, EMDR therapist and Clinical Lecturer on the PG Dip in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (High Intensity Therapy/ IAPT).

She qualified as a Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist in 2000, and has clinical experience of working in inpatient units, psychiatric rehabilitation, assertive outreach, community secondary care, primary care psychology and IAPT. Her current NHS clinical practice is in the Department of Psychological Medicine for Humber Foundation NHS Trust. She has experience of delivering CBT supervision both within the NHS and at the University, individually and in groups.

Rachel has worked as Clinical Lecturer at the University of Hull since 2009, across both the IAPT HIT programme, and the CBT in Secondary Care PG Dip. Between 2017 and 2022 , Rachel was the KSA representative on the BABCP Practitioner Accreditation Committee.
