Dr Siri Chongchitnan

Dr Chongchitnan joined the mathematics team at Hull in 2013. He was previously Fellow in Mathematics at Lincoln College, Oxford. He is currently the Programme Director for Mathematics.

His research focuses on cosmology - the study of the birth and evolution of the Universe, and the origin of large-scale structures observed today.


Research Interests

  • Theoretical cosmology, including inflation, dark energy and gravitational waves

  • The early universe, including the Cosmic Dawn and Dark Ages

  • Statistical applications in cosmology
